WAYS TO WORK WITH MAROONING BODIES:
BOOK A GAME WORKSHOP
Marooning Bodies game workshops bring groups together to collectively imagine and design alternative ways of living, governing, and caring for one another. Through guided play, conversation, and creative practice, participants explore community-building, decision-making, and collective responsibility in an immersive and accessible format. Workshops are designed for classrooms, universities, cultural institutions, and organizations seeking deeper approaches to collaboration and social imagination.
FUTURE RELICS
Future Relics are sculptural objects imagined as artifacts from liberated futures. They translate collective imagination into tangible cultural forms, functioning simultaneously as artwork, archive, and tool. Marooning Bodies creates Future Relics through two pathways:
[1] commissions and [2] partnerships.
Commissions are developed for homes, institutions, and public collections. These ceremonial works are created in close dialogue with clients to reflect shared values, histories, and visions of the future.
[1]
Partnerships bring Marooning Bodies into collaboration with businesses, organizations, and creatives across the globe to co-create Future Relics as part of larger cultural projects. These collaborations expand the Future Relic practice as a collective platform for designing the material culture of liberated futures.
[2]
Together, commissions and partnerships position Future Relics not only as individual artworks, but as a growing international ecosystem of speculative cultural artifacts.
INSTALLATIONS & PUBLIC ART
Marooning Bodies creates immersive installations and public artworks that transform spaces into laboratories for collective future-making. These projects invite audiences to actively engage with alternative ways of living together through participatory environments, performances, and sculptural works. Installations are developed in collaboration with museums, galleries, libraries, and municipalities seeking innovative approaches to public engagement and cultural dialogue.
CURRICULUM DEVELOPMENT
Marooning Bodies develops curriculum and learning experiences that integrate worldbuilding, collective imagination, and embodied inquiry into educational settings. Working with schools, universities, and cultural organizations, we design programs that support critical thinking, collaboration, and civic imagination. Curriculum offerings adapt the Marooning Bodies methodology for classrooms, residencies, and long-term educational partnerships.
SPEAKING & FACILITATION
Marooning Bodies offer talks, keynotes, and facilitated conversations on collective imagination, community design, and the role of art in shaping social futures. Drawing from the platform, these engagements support institutions, conferences, and organizations seeking thoughtful, interdisciplinary perspectives on culture, justice, and collective transformation.
